The Governing Bodies of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) are the Commission
on Narcotic Drugs and the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice. The Secretariat to the Governing Bodies (SGB)
acts as an interface between the Commissions, their subsidiary bodies and UNODC. It is the main contact point for representatives
of Member States and permanent missions in Vienna concerning matters pertaining to the work and the competence of the Commissions.

and reconvened sessions of the Commissions and coordinates the side events held during the regular sessions. It organizes
and services meetings of the subsidiary bodies of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs and other meetings under UNODC auspices
as required. As one of the sections of the Division for Treaty Affairs, the SGB also plays a substantive role in the preparations
